i'm back lol
Dec. 8th, 2021 10:09 pmi've vanished for a couple months (and right after promising myself i'd be here more often haha), but i'm here now in a much, much better headspace than the past few months, and that is all that matters to me.
one thing of note is that i finally took the plunge and excised myself from the clutches of twitter, and not just the fandom account which has been causing me a lot of unnecessary stress. i would have left sooner if twitter wasn't the only way to reach a dear online friend i made on the seventeen side of the platform, but i'm happy to report that i've been able to contact her somewhere else that isn't the twitter dm. i still use fritter to keep up with some twitter accounts, but in my eyes this is healthier than actively participating in and being subject to all the doom and gloom you can find there. i'm not obligated to follow any personal accounts just so i can make poor attempts at socializing anymore, nor am i forced to look at trends (the desktop version of twitter is the bane of my existence for this exact reason). i have resolved to make healthier decisions for myself, and realizing that i don't have to be knee-deep in social media to be considered a person and making good on leaving is no doubt one of the best choices i ever made. (i left instagram too, and the only thing i miss is not being able to view my best friend's archive of stories documenting our high school life)
i missed rambling hereand reevaluated my anxieties in regards to posting, so i'll try being around more *^____^*
