In your own space, set yourself some goals for the coming year. They can be fannish or not, public or private. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
  1. TO HEAL - this is the most important goal to me. while i survived the past year, it was also marked with so much personal pain and struggle. i'm fatigued just by the act of writing all of this out, embarrassingly enough, which speaks as to how much i've been worn down by the last four years—even something that is supposed to be as natural as breathing to me has become tiring. i'm aware that "healing" is by itself a broad goal (and to some, broad goals aren't the most helpful), but more than a goal or a trajectory, i'd like for healing to be the driving force of whatever i choose to do this year and beyond.
  2. learn how to play bass guitar - obtained one about a month ago, but the end-of-year was so busy for me i scarcely practiced. i'm personally awful at following through with hobbies of any kind, but i'd like for that to change this year!
  3. make stuff - includes drawing and writing. i'm hoping i'll be able to learn to do both (and more) without shame invading the whole process. may this year be filled with creating and not just consuming!
